Q 1. How many times can I take the SAT test?
A. Students may take the SAT as often as they wish.

Q 2. Can I combine my best score from the verbal and math sections from tests I took at different times to get my actual score?
A. YES! Students are allowed to combine their best scores from the verbal and math sections of different tests.

Q 3. How many divisions of collegiate athletics are there?
A. There are 4 divisions for collegiate athletics. Divisions I, II, III and NAIA.

Q 4. Are there athletic & academic scholarships from each division? (Can Division I offer full scholarships or 50% athletic and 50% academic ones?)
A. This varies according to the sport and division.
   > Division I sports such as Football 1A, Football 1AA, Mens/Women's Basketball, Ice Hockey, Women's Tennis, Gymnastics, and Volleyball do not allow partial scholarships to be offered.
   > Other sports on the Division I level can offer partial athletic scholarships, along with academic scholarships, grants, etc.
   > Division II athletic programs can mix and match academic and athletic scholarships
   > Division III programs can only offer academic scholarships.
   > NAIA schools (the best kept secret out there) can offer any combination of athletic or academic scholarship money they see fit.

Q 5. How can I child find out more about getting involved community service and mentoring programs?
A. Talk with your school guidance counselor, or contact your local Youth Services Bureau.

Q 6. Is there scholarship money for women bowlers?
A. YES! There is scholarship money available for women's bowling.

Q 7. I'm good athlete and participate in sports. How many scholarships are available in each sport?
A. Most every sport is different in terms of scholarships available.

Q 8. My brother plays in the school band. Is there scholarship money available from colleges for band members? How will we find those colleges?
A. There is scholarship money for virtually everything you can think of. Help these schools find you. Ask if your school has signed up for Online College Scouting (onlinescouting.com). It's FREE
